This pink haired, websensation, blogging maven really gets what the little girl in all of us wants. She got that we wanted shirts with barbies and cake on when she was forefronting the magnificent Coco de Coeur. She gets that we want raw beautiful crystals and forged Crystal Cactus. She gets that we want a magnificent shoe collection and teamed up with Milan based footwear company Kerol D Milano. She even gets that we want her exact clothes so created Audrey’s Closet. Now she’s made Luna.

Luna is described by the designer herself as an ‘NYC based clothing label for the late night dreamers and starry eyed believers.’ The first collection entitled ‘Ballet School Dropout’ taps into the seven year old girl in a leotard and tutu with dreams of being a prima ballerina that resides in all our souls. Kitching has taken this cute idea and made it into everyday lovely wearing.

Focusing on baggy t-shirts paired beautifully with lace, point shoes and faux fur, the lookbook shows you exactly how to wear the pieces to create a half fairytale world for yourself. With prints of rainbow cats, the flower of life, flamingo pink snakes, and bold sayings like ‘I’m a Dreamer’ or ‘at Home on the Moon’ this collection is ready to go.

The shirts themselves are an assortment of lilac-greys, pastel pinks, jet blacks and crisp clean whites all of which compliment fabulously with the slogans and logo designs. You could look effortlessly chic in these shirts if you just wear them slightly off the shoulder with some skinny jeans and killer wedges. Or play up completely to the ballerina vibe and opt for a lace circle skirt with some cute pastel flats – just don’t forget the top knot to complete your look!

The release date hasn’t yet been announced but the clothing should be ready to buy for S/S’14 so keep your eyes peeled because this is one brand of clothing you don’t want to miss out on.
