In the fashion world where collaborations seem to be the latest fad, leading skateboard shoe brand Lakai Limited Footwear has announced its proud collaboration with musician Earl Sweatshirt of Odd Future. Earl is known to have grown up skateboarding with Lakai team rider Nakel Smith in LA- a friendship which formed the foundation of this collaboration. The main design theme is a reflection of the stripe pattern which is seen in Odd Futures iconic doughnut graphic.

With Earl being a keen fan of the Lakai Camby Shoe since its release last spring, the collaboration sees four different colourways of Earls Camby model, along with a series of t shirts, hoodies, socks and bucket hats, all due to be released in the UK within the next two weeks. Two all-canvas colours have been designed for on the stage use, while another two all-suede colours have been designed for on the board use.

Founded by professional skateboarders Mike Carroll, Rick Howard and movie director Spike Jonze in 1999, Lakai Limited Footwear is a brand built on the dedication and pride they have always invested into their skateboarding. With a focus on creativity and motivation, Lakai has maintained a unique level of integrity and respect within the skateboarding community since its inception. Simply stated, Lakai Limited Footwear are The Shoes We Skate.

Having gained recognition and critical praise for his debut mixtape, Earl, the musician released his debut studio album, Doris in August 2013.
