The collection boasts signature Local Heroes pastel shades and tongue in cheek slogans – incorporating embroidery, sequins and cute patch detailing. Palm Tree motifs run throughout, featuring on the ‘Glitter Palms Turtleneck’ (£45) and matching skirt (£40). The ‘Patches’ Tee (£40) echoes stickers on a vintage suitcase – with a cute Local Heroes twist (think rainbows, avocados and bowling balls.) Super-cute ‘Fake’ slogan tees (£35) and turtleneck sweaters (£55) pack a pastel punch in pink and purple. Founded three years ago by friends Areta Szpura and Karolina Slota, Local Heroes began with the idea to create something inspired by internet culture. Starting out with Tumblr slogans on tees, these days Local Heroes collections are notoriously straightforward, street style focused and always with an element of youth subcultures.
