Celeste Tesoriero: Freemans Reach Collection

After a five year career as a designer for various international labels, Celeste launched her self-titled label in 2012. Gaining over 20 retailers in Australia, New Zealand and Japan in her first season, the brand successfully secured itself in the industry with it’s first few steps.

Celeste’s raw, effortless design aesthetic lies at the core of every collection with a focus on the finer details and all that is classic and luxurious. Working with natural fabrics such as leather, linen, silk, wool and bamboo, Celeste draws on time-honoured Japanese tailoring in the creation of her designs, a theme evident across her collections.

2014 saw Celeste move to a strong focus on sustainability, the use of organic fabrications and procedures. Aiming to work in a way in which reflects her personal morals, makes her work evidently carefully curated and a stand out amongst her peers. Celeste is currently nominated for the WGSN Catrice Cosmetics ‘Breakthrough Talent’ Global Design Award, and the Prix De Marie Claire ‘Fashion with Heart’ award.
