The Chocolate Fashion Show, made famous by Salon du Chocolat, returns to the capital for its second UK edition at this year’s Chocolate Show London with an exciting line up. Featuring couture creations made from and inspired by the magic of chocolate, the Chocolate Fashion Show will debut at an exclusive Gala Evening on 16th October, before the show opens to the public on 17-19th October, when visitors will be wowed by an array of outfits from top fashion designers and chocolatiers as they take to the catwalk every day of the show at 5pm.

Caroline McCall, the BAFTA-winning designer behind the costumes of ITV’s hit drama series Downton Abbey has collaborated with the Lindt Master Chocolatier and Paul Wayne Gregory to create Deco Diamond, a 1920s inspired dress that is good enough to eat! Also taking part in Alexandra Harper Millinery. Known for her innovative techniques and following a collaboration with Disney, her luxury headwear exudes style and individuality. She’s teamed up with Andy Blas, Executive Pastry Chef at the five-star Café Royal Hotel, to create a chocolate spectacle not to be missed. Remember Kylie’s silver dress from the Can’t Get You Out Of My Head video? Now imagine it transformed by chocolate as Anita Thakker of Fruitful Blooms Chocolatiers works her magic.

Other creations to feast your eyes on include Saree du Chocolat by Aneesh Popat aka The Chocolatier; Fairy Choc Mother by Mark Tilling and Sue Hodges for Squires Kitchen; Paul A Young; Quentin Gianora & Lucie Bennett and Bruno Mirmont for Maison Boissier. Body paint artist Carolyn Roper for The Academy of Freelance Make-Up will be transforming dancers into chocolate works of art and there’ll also be costumes from the award-winning West End musical, Charlie & the Chocolate Factory. Can’t make the daily 5pm catwalk performance? Don’t despair; the chocolate outfits will be on display throughout the weekend. There will also be a selection available to view at Harvey Nichols Knightsbridge 10th-16th October.

15,000 chocolate fans are expected to flock to the show to see the best UK chocolate companies exhibiting alongside exciting international brands, as well as demos, tastings, talks, live chocolate fashion shows each day, truffle rolling workshops with L’atelier des Chefs and activities for children with York Cocoa House.
