Things We Love: The New Stationery Collection From Oilily

Stylish, colourful and functional: let us introduce to you the latest line of adorable stationery from the Dutch brand Oilily. Inspired by a number of prints from its women’s clothing collection. The collection, named the Dutch Folklore Range, had been lovingly designed and produced by Oilily’s graphic design team in collaboration with Portico Designs, an English publishing company that produces stationery, calendars and cards. Oilily succeeded in designing a unique and sophisticated collection of stationery by utilising prints by Oilily’s designers.

The prints – inspired by Oilily’s women’s wear collections – have been handmade in Oilily’s studio and were applied to the various items by its graphic designers. Oilily also chose to combine a variety of high-quality materials, providing the items with both contrast as well as a wide variety of different textures. By combining fluorescent orange with shades of bright blue and red, a dynamic effect is created. The collection consists of note pads in different sizes, writing blocs with a pencil, notebooks, ring binders and a binder with envelopes, stationary and stamps. In short: this stationery collection is a must-have for both the office and at home.
