STONE S/S’15: Future Recollections

Modern menswear inspired by international lifestyles STONE’s spring/summer 2015 collection channels tiled lineation on Khmer temples and school uniforms in Singapore for its latest sartorial offering entitled Future Recollections. Co­Creative directors Dakota Scott and Dana Mason imbued observations from their recent explorations in Southeast Asia into the collection’s color and construction, delivering an understated and academic aesthetic.

Further inspiration came through a study of mid­century modern furniture, igniting an appreciation for the disciplined designs of Finn Juhl and Hans J. Wegner. Both Juhl and Wegner’s modern interpretation of conventional furniture informed the collection’s spirit. Signature detailing, which includes square-­point collars, panelled back collars and French seams, brings a level of precision to the collection.
