POWER RANGERS LUXE sees the brilliant collaboration between Saban’s Power Rangers and Soho boutique Year Zero to offer an array of on-trend, luxury unisex apparel and accessory items, which range from knuckle-dusters to PVC applique shirts. The fashion industry has been rife with Sport Luxe, Superhero and Cartoon-Inspired Fashion of late, with many A- listers and trend-setters embracing their Inner Child, including the likes of Cara Delevingne, Jourdan Dunn and Rihanna.

Now, with the introduction of POWER RANGERS LUXE, London has an offering to compete with the likes of Moschino’s Barbie look, Henry Hollands Mr.Quiffy and Anya Hindmarch’s collection of cereal bags, and all arwe inspired by one of the most successful superhero series in television history.

Designed by the owners of the Year Zero boutique, Louise, Tatum and Rocky Mazzilli, POWER RANGERS LUXE has taken inspiration from the spirit, energy and belief of being bold, fun, dynamic and, above all, individual. The designs, which are available for both men and women incorporate cartoon-like elements and the range consists of T-shirts, tanks, sweatshirts and accessories. Over-sized PVC applique shirts boast the Power Rangers Megaforce emblems of Dragon, Shark, Phoenix, Tiger and Cobra in the iconic ‘Ranger colours’ of black, red, blue, pink and yellow. Their T-shirts and tanks are finished in slick monochrome with simple designs such as an over-sized lightning bolt logo.

Though the accessories collection uses modern Power Ranger iconography such as the animal emblems and new ‘Ranger helmets’, the styling gives an obvious nod to the decade of its roots with classic 90s Hip-Hop styling – think chunky chain necklaces with bright and over-sized Perspex pendants teamed with boxy caps and beanies boasting slogans like ‘POWER’ in bold Perspex letters. Perspex cuffs and knuckle dusters are layered with crystal detail for extra bling available in all five Power Ranger colours. There are even phone cases in each of the colours.
