Michael Kors bags are a huge success for the brand and can be seen on the arms of women across the country.  Favourite “The Selma” bag sells an average of 225 bags per week at Selfridges.  The designer is not shy at proclaiming  his admiration for the capital saying “ I love the way women in London dress, and I’m delighted to be opening this Collection store on Sloane Street, which is undeniably chic.” Over the years Kors has seen his luxury boutique sportswear brand transform into a global fashion powerhouse seeing him recently join the Fashion Billionaires Club.  Kors CV previously includes creative director for French Fashion House Celine, and an original  judge on the “Project Runway” TV show for 11 seasons.

The success of the brand is due to it being the first retailer to really capitalise on a bigger target audience, aiming it at people with money but are not rich. Despite the seemingly cheaper designer price tag it is still a favourite with celebrities including Blake Lively, Miranda Kerr and Kate Hudson who proudly sport their Kors handbags. With cross body bags starting from £140 and their signature totes from £235 Kors has  made owning a designer bag accessible and affordable. With rave reviews over their ready-to-wear A/W’15 range and accessories, there has never been a better time to head over to Sloane Street and view the collection for ourselves.
