Designer Anais Bouilly used principle, exquisite approach to create JAQ Joaillerie. Anais was born in Rennes, Brittanny. Growing up and constantly moving, the designer gained a essential appreciation for green landscapes and the sea. Bouilly has always had a love for art. Throughout the years Anais was always painting, sewing, drawing in other words always creating of some sort. The technical, precise aspects of jewellery making was her favourite conclusion as an artist. Taking a career gear as a jewellery maker best suites the simplistic approach to fashion for Anais. “I’m a “simple” person, I haven’t got a lot clothes, bags or shoes. That doesn’t mean I don’t like beautiful things, I’m interested in fashion but I prefer having less but quality things, I don’t agree with the excessive consumption” boasted the designer. Jewellery is probably one of the most effective yet clean ways to make a fashion statement.

The name was naturalised from “joaillerie éthique” which means ethical jewellery. She combined three letters from the term to make up JAQ Joaillerie, the name Jaq is masculine which presents her offbeat and robust feminine brand. Bouilly was inspired by the timeless, quality of nature for her brand. Anais wanted gold to be the staple product in her designs, but needed an eco friendly approach. Bouilly could not bare the green disaster that has come from extracting gold, so she opted to search the market for one hundred percent, recycled gold aka fair gold. JAQ Joaillerie nonces, a collection, of necklaces, rings, earrings, bracelets mostly in white gold and diamonds. The brand is handle with care in traditional french jeweller courtesy. Bouilly believes getting the best results as a creative is working with no regrets.

This season S/S’15 JAQ Joaillerie showcased “Tiempo” a minimalist, graceful collection. This collection dons white gold with gorgeous Tahitian pearls. The second collection is called “Flos” which beautifully balances, white gold with or without diamonds. “Tiempo” represents images of timepieces while “Flos” channels floral arrangements, both with elegance. The upcoming collections for A/W 15-16 will still bring careful movement pieces but with a more eccentric value. The first season incorporated a lot of Anais’ personal style while still inviting other style. For this coming season Bouilly will aim to go more universal with her designs. Being at the beginning stages of production Anais is steady building a following, in the world of fashion. With upcoming showcases in California and New York new and exciting things are ahead. Anais wants her brand to make people feel peaceful and beautiful, with an intimate pop of JAQ Joaillerie.
