GIRLI Releases New Single ‘Play It Cool’

London’s most unapologetic and compelling popstar GIRLI releases brand new track “Play It Cool”, the video for the new single is due to be release later this month.With Kinks-like power chords, infectious hooks and a decidedly cool nonchalant delivery, “Play It Cool” marks GIRLI’s first new music since her recent “Hot Mess” EP. GIRLI ventures into DIY pop with the new single, calling bullshit on your typical fuckboi with her astute lyrical observations and a wry sense of humour.

After releasing a string of successful singles from the ‘Hot Mess’ EP, followed by writing sessions in Los Angeles, GIRLI has taken on a more alt-pop feel. Continuing to maintain her socio-political opinions and characteristically honest vibe, she recently spoke and performed at the #FreePeriodsProtest outside Parliament. GIRLI comes alive on stage and has already wowed audiences across the UK with sell out shows at Dingwalls and Electrowerkz as well as recently supporting Alma and Kate Nash.
