Who doesn’t dream of losing weight instantly? If you’re trying your best to get that beach body ready for your summer holiday then here’s some tips on some foods that can make you lose weight. People spend too much money on dietary supplements or gym subscription fees but they don’t always have that same affect like they do on some people. This might be down to your unhealthy eating habits. Certain alterations in your daily eating habits can help you lose weight. If you add certain food and drinks to your daily diet, you may able to lose a few pounds in a month.

Fruits and Vegetables

Eating green vegetables like spinach, broccoli, lettuce, cabbage, mushrooms, broccoli and so on is very helpful to lose weight. You should also add lots of fruits like oranges, apples, papaya, and pineapple. Citrus fruits like lemon, oranges, grapefruit, will also help you get that desired figure.

You get about 20% of your water every day through food so a general rule is to drink two litres of water a day. This is the equivalent to a large bottle of fizzy drink or three-and-a-half pints. If you do drink plenty of water during the day, it helps to detoxify the body as it flushes out the toxins. Having at least eight glasses of water a day is a really good detoxifier and recommended by doctors worldwide.

Certain spices in your kitchen like garlic, ginger, turmeric, cinnamon and so on should be included in your daily diet. Spices are easy to find in any supermarket store. Add generous helpings to your next sauce or dish to suppress your appetite. Find fresh sources of the herb  for more lasting benefits.

Whole grains should be included in your diet in certain proportion. Of special significance is the fact that whole grains contain as much as four times more dietary fiber than their refined counterparts. Increasing fiber in the diet has been shown to reduce the incidence of coronary heart disease, obesity and some forms of cancer and diabetes.
