Covair Watch Company introduced their new interchangeable timepiece on Kickstarter lately and we’re shouting it from the rooftops. The versatile timepiece comes with an interchangeable watch face and strap system that will allow the watch to adapt to any situation – from casual to classy in seconds.

Covair is including two distinct faces in their Kickstarter rewards. The white “Tuxedo” face is a stripped down and elegant insert for any formal occasions. The grey “Rover” design is better suited for those who want something casual and simple. The inserts securely attach to the housing with strong and discreet magnets coupled with O-rings to ensure your watch doesn’t fly off with a flick of your wrist.

Through Covair’s Kickstarter campaign, the watch company will also be releasing three easily swappable wrist straps which can clip onto the watch housing. The initial launch will include a brown leather strap, a stainless steel bracelet and a canvas NATO style band. The straps are held onto the case with steel, quick-change clips, allowing the Covair Watch to easily complement any outfit within moments.

The Covair Watch features a hardened mineral glass crystal on the face-insert. The stainless steel base measures 40mm wide. The watch inserts use a Japanese quartz movement for easy and accurate time-keeping. The whole piece is only 10mm. Covair’s unique and interchangeable components give the wearer the benefit of owning multiple watches without the exorbitant costs of buying different timepieces. The Covair watch becomes the ideal timepiece for any circumstance thanks to its modularity and endless combinations to appease even the most particular of the fashion-forward and trendy.

Covair is seeking to raise $55,000 on their Kickstarter to cover production costs. If the launch is successful, the company hopes to make more future watch inserts like a dive watch with a rotating bezel, a more vintage looking face, and even a fitness tracker. If the goal is met, Covair is ready to deliver the watch to backers by December 2015.
