Celebrating Royal Baby Princess Charlotte With All Things Pink

This week at The Clothes Maiden we are celebrating all things pink after the arrival of Princess Charlotte of Cambridge. On Saturday Kate Middleton and Price William welcomed their newborn baby daughter into the world. Baby Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana was born at a healthy 8 pounds, 3 ounces, just 3oz less than her brother Prince George. Charlotte is the first princess in 25 years! There are a long line of princes – Charles, William, Harry and George but there hasn’t been a princess born into the British monarchy since Princess Eugenie was born 25 years ago. So being the first princess in 25 years, will Princess Charlotte dress like one?!

Photos of Princess Charlotte appeared less than 24 hours after it was pronounced Kate had gone into labour. The nation awoke to images of the new royal princess sleeping peacefully in her mother’s arms. She was covered in a quaint white knitted shawl and ivory bonnet.  Soon after the first photos started to emerge, reports started flooding in that Kate Middleton looked too good for a woman who had just given birth.

Kate Middleton’s fashion choices have been wowing the world since she joined the Royal Family in 2011. Not stopping even two hours after giving birth she was wearing a stunning yellow and cream floral silk dress and Jimmy Choo Heels. The Duchess doesn’t seem to follow trends. We think she has her own unique sense of ageless fashion that we have come to love over the last couple of years.
