Band Spotlight: Snøskred

Today we introduce Trondheim, Norway-based band Snøskred (Norwegian for ‘Avalanche’- pronounce the Ø as the “i” in bird), who today have shared their new single ‘Puzzle’. An uptempo and elegant “honest attempt at connecting with the past and future of bands with guitars in them” (to quote Snøskred themselves), the track introduces their subtle yet immediate approach to songwriting, hinting at influences from the likes of Pavement, Talk Talk and Yo La Tengo.

 Snøskred have something truly timeless etched into the grooves and deep, rich melodies. Singer Karl Klaseie explains: “Puzzle is a simple song living in a complex world.”
