Turquoise is Called “sky stone” or “stone of heaven” by Native Americans who believe the vibrations of turquoise can build a spiritual bridge between worlds and is considered to be a symbol of generosity, sincerity, and affection. Moonstone resonates with the feminine wisdom and Goddess energy of the waxing and waning Moon and has a reflective, calming energy. It reminds one to be more conscious of the fact that life is a cycle of constant change.

Bahgsu Jewel’s aesthetic is deeply entwined with a respect for wild, natural forces and the products of those processes. Every piece has a narrative that begins with how mother earth formed it, where it was mined, who cut its shape, why it attracted them and finally how it transformed into a Bahgsu jewel. Ancient cultures across the globe used stones to express their mythologies.

Each crystal is embedded with a unique creation myth which might span thousands of years and contain tales of wonder and cosmic power. By connecting with sacred stones the brand are able to harness the ancient wisdoms of our ancestors. Chris and Madgi Del Moro have spent their lives bouncing between Italy and Byron Bay, Bali and Mumbai, with many towns and cities in between, searching for inspiration and peace, but thriving on the road.

Madgi founded Bahgsu Jewels in 2008 after completing a silversmith course in the Himalayan village pronounced Bag-sue during her three month solo journey through India. Chris joined the team a few years later after they fell in love. His artistic skills continue to evolve the brand in countless ways. As creators they strive to keep the business conscious and environmentally friendly, prioritising the ethical sourcing of all materials. All Bahgsu Jewels are hand carved and crafted.
