On Sunday night Liam Gallagher’s fashion house Pretty Green hosted a rock n’ roll party, celebrating the launch of the label’s Black Label and Green Label SS16 collections. Gibson Brands Showrooms in Fitzrovia, Central London, played host to the event. The guitar clad walls provided the perfect backdrop for the collection. Guests were greeted with key pieces from the SS16 collection displayed in the lobby, with a Pretty Green designed and hand painted Gibson ‘Flying V’ taking centre stage. The distinctive floral design also featured on a limited edition scarf and bag that was gifted to guests.

The ranges on display took inspiration from the 1960’s when rock music and fashion were changing dramatically. As music became more progressive with the emergence of bands like Led Zepplin and T-Rex, fashion began to reflect the new attitudes. Highlights from the collections include a new exclusive Black Label paisley print, PU coated linen cagoule, the light weight Festival Mac, and the Camo Leaf Print Parka.

Legendary DJ Norman Jay MBE provided the soundtrack for the party and kept revellers dancing throughout the night. Gastronomy kings, Gourmet Burger Kitchen kept the guests sustained with a batch of Pretty Green burgers, which contained 100% prime beef and Green Goddess mayonnaise, made exclusively for the evening. Whilst official London Collections Men sponsor Warsteiner kept the guests lubricated as Burleigh’s Gin served a selection of Negroni cocktails and Burleigh’s G&T that were supported by Fever Tree.
