Heritage brand Hawes & Curtis lately launched its stylish new collection of ‘60s inspired outfits influenced by the new film The Man From U.N.C.L.E. The firm saw the film as the perfect fit thanks to its history making high quality clothing since 191, which ooze quintessential British style and have long been acclaimed by aristocracy and Hollywood’s elite. Teaming up with Warner Bros the firm recreated three of the looks from the films scenes and an overall collection that brings out the atmosphere of the time. For men, exquisitely tailored suits and shirts from the company’s premium 1913 Collection steal the show. The suits are made from the finest Italian wool while the Jermyn Street style shirts are made from 140s cotton with silk touch and feature some stunning additional details such as Mother of Pearl buttons.

The ties are the same design as the ones in the movie. Tie-pins, cufflinks and pocket squares add sartorial flourishes and showcase a welcome return to the days when dressing to the nines was important seven days a week. Hawes & Curtis dresses the ladies with monochrome blouses that create a sleek silhouette and the two hero blouses were inspired by the long dresses of Victoria Vinciguerra played by Elizabeth Debicki. For the more casual Weekend Collection, Hawes & Curtis has recreated a third and casual look with soft turtle-neck sweater, leather jacket, cap and leather weekender bag.

The new line is now available online and will be showcased at a number of the firm’s flagship London stores – in Jermyn Street, Regent Street, Bond Street, and at its branch in Milton Keynes.
