This season, PUMA teams-up with top Parisian lifestyle label, The Kooples, for a sublime iteration of the classic PUMA Clyde. The collaboration is a great fusion of PUMA’s sports-inspired style with the Kooples’ signature rock-n’roll aesthetics. The Kooples is the contemporary fashion brand for trendy couples with a discerning taste for sophisticated high urban style. What started out as a store in Paris, the Kooples has garnered instant cult following with shops opening in New York and London. The Kooples trendy label lends its rock-n-roll style to the PUMA Clyde, a low-top sneaker that originated in the 70’s for basketball icon Walt “Clyde” Frazier. Nicknamed after Bonnie & Clyde, Frazier was notorious for the way he stole the ball from his opponents. He was also the league’s original fashion icon and first player to make the fashion magazines with his distinct classy style. He was known for his feathered fedoras, blinged out walking sticks and a plethora of custom pieces from suits to alligator briefcases. Not to mention his PUMAs.The PUMA Clyde returns with a contemporary look that compliments the wardrobe at Maison The Kooples. Whether worn with a suit or a dress, The PUMA Clyde Kooples owns every occasion. The skullhead at the back of the shoes echoes to one of the strongest The Kooples code, as well as the black and white colours. Indeed, decked in fine leather, the PUMA Clyde Kooples is available in two versions – in all-white and intense black colourways. The classic sneaker looks badass and is specially finished with a silver metal skull jewel on the heel.
