Kat Pace releases her highly anticipated album, ‘Back Home’, which is due out today. The songstress takes the stage with a Pop-Soul vibe that is equal parts vibrant and seductive. Kat is a hometown Philly girl who writes with empathy, earnestness, poetic elegance, and dashes of quirkiness. The follow up to her “Survivor” EP from last year, she brings her musicianship up a notch, and creates a record that flows perfectly from start to finish. After hitting the studio with nine-time Grammy award-winning producer Joe “The Butcher” Nicolo (Billy Joel, Rolling Stones, Lauryn Hill, Cypress Hill), Kat is embracing a more soulful pop aesthetic.

Pieces such as ‘Easy As You’ showcases her range, both emotionally and musically. ‘Yesterday’s News’, which is a personal favourite, offers up an eclectic taste of instruments alongside her harmonious voice. Her arrangements also come into the spotlight, as musically and lyrically she is on fire. Influenced heavily by singer-songwriters of the 1970s she showcases her unique talent for providing new flavour to the tasty palette.
