DESCRIPTION:Fresh from the success of their sold-out event in February\, the UK’s biggest and oldest Gin Festival is once again proud to return to the magnificent Tobacco Dock for another celebration of gin.\nThere will be over 100 different gins to try\, including brand new gins not available at the February event and exclusive gins you won’t see anywhere else. \n\nThere will also be gin masterclasses and the opportunity to meet gin distillers in person\, a gin cocktail bar\, live music and gorgeous food. On arrival you will be handed your very own Gin Festival Copa Balloon Glass and a brochure that tells you all about the gins at the festival. Throughout the event there will be live music and entertainment\, talks from gin industry experts\, delicious food and lots of chit chat with other gin lovers! \nTickets go on sale at 10am on Monday 27th February. This event is strictly over 18’s only (you may be asked for id). SUMMARY:Bourne & Hollingsworth Present a Special Blitz Party
DESCRIPTION:To coincide with the anniversary of D-Day\, Bourne & Hollingsworth present a special Blitz Party taking place on Saturday 4th June. Marking over 70 years since the famous Normandy Landings\, Londoners are invited to step back in time to the 1940s and enjoy a night of patriotic revelry. The evening will celebrate this courageous event in the way blitz era London knew best\, through raucous swing dancing\, fortifying cocktail quaffing and big band music. At this summer’s Blitz Party\, moustachioed soldiers and plucky WAAFs are invited to flirt over a classic cocktail and dance under searchlights.  \n \nLondoners are encouraged to seek shelter in an East London bunker authentically decorated with sandbags\, black-out curtains\, replica ration books replacing ordinary bar menus and a live music stage. Contemporary wartime entertainment will be emulated by an exceptional swing band\, Capitano’s Vegas Rabble\, who will be playing the best of 40s jump jive\, swing and rhythm and blues drawing red-lipped Land Girls and dashing American soldiers out onto the dance floor for an exuberant evening of lindy-hopping.  \nTickets are available to buy online by clicking here.
