The reciprocal collaboration will see both brands inspire each other’s lines in 2015. The first step in the collaboration saw models hitting the runway at Christopher Shannon’s spring/summer 2016 show clad in knitwear featuring the world-famous Zippo windproof lighter, inspired by Shannon’s love of reframing everyday items. The collection celebrates the hedonism of summer with Zippo lighters standing out as a summer memento for the designer. Following the release of his spring/summer 2016 collection featuring Zippo, Christopher Shannon will bring his signature style to the iconic Zippo windproof lighter with three distinct designs. Launching with a limited run later this year, the Zippo x Christopher Shannon windproof lighters will be available online.
