If you’ve never heard of mala beads before, then we’re going to tell you what they are, how they work and how they’re trending in the yoga world today. A mala is a string of 108 beads with one bead as the summit or head bead called a ‘sumeru.’ They are used as a tool to help your mind focus on meditation, or count mantras in sets of 108 repetitions. With life getting more hectic as we get older, meditation is tricky! It can be challenging to sit still and quiet your mind for a period of time. With the help of mala beads, adding mindfulness to your day gets that bit easier.

Recently we came across a very special website who specialise in energizing mala bead necklaces, located in South Florida. Good news, they ship worldwide. They respect and honour the land they use by following the Native American tradition of clearing the stones, the cords and the Malas. They energise the Malas by using the reiki tradition, specific mantras and also infuse them with a higher vibration (sound healing) using Tibetan singing bowls that emit a different vibration for each of the chakras.

To put it simply, negative emotions have a lower vibration and positive emotions have a higher vibration. They carefully and respectfully tune their Malas to transmit a higher vibration while also assisting and tuning the chakras. After each Mala has been tuned, they have them individually blessed by Tibetan and Thai Buddhist monks and then carefully package them with the awareness and loving-kindness that it is a very unique object, created with a higher purpose and for a higher good.

If you practice yoga or meditation regularly, you may want to consider using energized mala beads as a meditation aid. Most people are unaware of what kind of energies their Mala beads are carrying and how many people’s emotions got attached to it. With these, we know they were cleared, tuned and blessed twice, ready to serve your thoughts and elevate your vibrations When choosing a mala, use your intuition first. If a mala appeals to you, it will be the right one for you at this time. These beads have been used in Buddhism and Hinduism for centuries and the traditional Rudraksha mala dates back to the 10th century. It seems that everyone who’s tuned into their spiritual side is wearing one of these around their neck. Using a mala is simple, easy, and also enjoyable.
