Russian menswear designer Tigran Avetisyan has released his S/S’15 collection and it’s certainly something to brag about. His starting process was slightly different this season, he thought about how big fashion houses operate in the industry, realising many of them would release collections only to promote sales of their perfume. In a way, a collection acts as an advertisement for a fragrance. The designer created a perfume first, which was called “Duty Free”, this was inspired by the designer’s trips and time spending in all the airports he visited.

Each time in the airport, he was overwhelmed  by all these scents, all fused together – creating an explosion of smell. This is how the idea came about, he thought it might be a good idea to create a “Tigran” perfume. So, he bought all the popular fragrances from Duty Free and mixed them all in one bottle. Later on they printed the mix of all these bottles in the 3D printer. Now based in Moscow after graduating from CSM, Avetisyan’s designs are fresh, inspiring and unique
