The Dilemma of Finding Cycling Underwear that Is Actually Comfortable

Most women want to look good at all times, and that includes whilst cycling. The problem is that the majority of the clothing on offer doesn’t accommodate this. What’s the solution? Some women choose to wear impractical clothing that compromises their ride. This can be problematic though, and lead to accidents.

Latvian company ZIB has attempted to provide a solution. Seeing that increasingly more women riding bikes prefer style to speed, their designers combined the latest professional cycling technologies with fashion, creating chamois panties that cyclists can wear under contemporary casual clothing and at the same time feel good.

In order to launch production and worldwide sale of the new chamois sports panties, the ZIB brand has started a crowdfunding project on Indiegogo, where everyone can support this new venture. The first supporters will receive their new cycling panties just in time for Christmas. ZIB chamois panties are professionally designed ladies’ cycling underwear, made of modern textiles, and meant to be worn under casual clothing – skirts, trousers, shorts. An extra-soft and elastic, Italia-made insert is an integral part of the panties. They’re made of the gentle DRY-CLIM fabric, and are snug and comfortable.

Are these panties the answer to this problem? That remains to be seen. They look fab on the pictures, and sound amazing, but the real test will come when they’re actually being worn. Then we’ll know once and for all whether or not they are capable of doing what they say on the tin.
