PUMA links up with West Coast-bred skate and streetwear label Diamond Supply for the first time to release a capsule sneaker range inspired by 90s skate culture. For their first collaboration, PUMA and Diamond Supply selected classic sneaker silhouettes that boomed in street and skate culture popularity in the late 80s and early 90s. The PUMA Clyde, the first of the two styles featured in the capsule collection, elevated its status from its basketball roots to street staple fame.

Originally created in 1973 – in an era when sports stars began to impressively impact on popular culture, influencing everything from film, fashion and even language, the PUMA Clyde quickly became a sneaker of choice outside of the hard court. It has maintained a strong presence in pop culture in the decades to come, being adopted by hip hop stars, B-boys, musicians and skateboarders. Its many important cultural links ensure it’s a crucial shoe for the sneaker collector of today

PUMA and Diamond Supply pay homage to this era by bringing back the PUMA Clyde and decking it in Diamond Supply style. The upper is composed of premium soft suede leather in signature Diamond Supply colour, Aruba blue, contrasted with a black Formstrip that extends to the heel. The tongue is marked with co-op branding that features the iconic diamond logo. The insoles have been given a Diamond Supply treatment as well with an original prism diamond graphic. All these premium detailing sit atop the PUMA Clyde trademark grippy rubber sole that skaters find perfect for boarding.
