With a debut performance on the BBC Introducing stage at Reading Festival and Radio 1 acclaim already under their belts, Paris Youth Foundation are snapping at the heels of their musical contemporaries with all the exuberance  their name suggests, and then some. With a maturity to their songwriting coupled with a refined level of musicianship their irresistible, anthemic alternative rock sound destined for a bigger stage.

Losing Your Love’ is brimming with earworm melodies. Frontman Kevin Potter’s ever melodic and heartfelt vocal paired with Tom Morris Jones and Jamie Hive’s jangly, reverb drenched guitars have a chiming dreaminess about them, contrasted with heavy and intense peaks as Paul Bates / bass  and Jonny Alderton / drums  propel the song with ridiculously tight, grooving rhythms.

‘If You Wanna’ is just as massive, a track that’s already caught Huw Stephens’ ear and enjoyed significant BBC Radio 1 airplay. Punchy and immediate, furnished with a lovesick chorus that will undoubtedly be emanating from a sea of adoring fans at some in the future. At the heart of   both tracks, Paris Youth Foundation echo the sweet hooks of Two Door Cinema Club with a potent Foals-esque kick.

Paris Youth Foundation mark their debut headline show when they play a home city show at Liverpool’s Buyers Club on 2nd December with tickets available via DICE.
