Designer Spotlight: GIBSH A/W’18 Collection

GIBSH is a Ukrainian brand that was founded by a stylist Dmitriy Gibshman. His debut took place on the platform of  Fashion Scout Kiev during Mercedes-Benz Kiev Fashion Days Fall-Winter 17/18. For the first GIBSH collection Dima experimented with a dress, sewing a volume skirt to a sports jacket or a T-shirt using white threads which became one of the central units of the label. He applied bright colours into the collection as wide shiny pants in green and red. 

For the first time GIBSH showed a new vision of the contemporary sports style and formed the DNA of the brand by creating the distinctive features. The picture of the final look of the catwalk show  – the fur coat that was made of multicoloured T-shirts was posted on Vogue Italia fashion editor  Sarah Maino Instagram account. 

This season GIBSH presented the complete ready-to-wear collection during Mercedes-Benz Kiev Fashion Days Spring-Summer 18. In this collection the designer placed the emphasis on comfortable evening gowns in sports style that he made from T-shirt fabric. Girls can wear such dresses in their everyday life or wear it at a party, even doing sports in it. Besides, there are pants and T-shirts, decorated with sticks made of white threads in the new Spring-Summer collection.
